Western Dakota Technical College (WDTC) is honored to host a total of about 300 participants, instructors, and supporters for the 2022 SkillsUSA South Dakota Leadership & Skills Conference on April 7-8. The event kicks off at 2 p.m. with an Opening Ceremony in the WDTC Event Center, Thursday, April 7.

During this event, career and technical education students, from high schools and colleges across South Dakota, will prove they are ready for careers in manufacturing, transportation, construction, hospitality, and human services.

Partnership with S.D. Community Foundation will Benefit Students for Generations

The Western Dakota Tech (WDT) Foundation is excited to announce that thanks to the generous donations of many, the 80/20 Western Dakota Technical College (WDTC) Student Emergency Fund SOS Campaign has met its fundraising goal of $80,000. This achievement will be matched by an additional $20,000 by the South Dakota Community Foundation (SDCF). The $100,000 total will be used to establish an endowment fund to assist WDTC students with emergency needs for perpetuity.

Do you need money for college? Attend the Western Dakota Technical College (WDTC) Financial Aid Hands-On Session at the college, 800 Mickelson Dr., from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 15. This event is free and open to everyone - not only those planning to attend WDTC. Registration is not necessary.
