When students apply for Federal Student Aid, the Financial Aid Office at Western Dakota Technical College uses the costs found on this page and the cost of indirect expenses to estimate how much financial aid students will need. Indirect expenses include room and board, miscellaneous expenses, and transportation expenses. For more information about indirect expenses or the Federal Student Aid program, contact the Western Dakota Technical College Financial Aid Team. You can also estimate housing and transportation costs by using the Net Price Calculator.
The cost of attendance is an estimate of the costs for one year as a student at Western Dakota Technical College. Students are assigned a federal aid cost of attendance once they file a FAFSA, which is used to determine the maximum amount of financial aid needed. Western Dakota Technical College tuition and fees are paid at the beginning of each semester and may change over the course of the year.
DIRECT COSTS are those costs that are automatically billed to your WDTC student account.
INDIRECT COSTS are expenses that would still be incurred, but not charged by WDTC.
