Find the Right Career for You at Activity-Rich Camp

Whether you are a high school student who knows what you want to do following graduation, or you are not quite sure, plan to attend the Western Dakota Technical College Career Expo, Thursday, Oct. 7. The FREE event will take place from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Monument (formerly the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center).

Those attending the Expo will have the opportunity to explore more than 30 Western Dakota Tech programs through the activity-rich camp and visit with actual employers about career options. Participants will be able to register for a chance to win a $150 Visa gift card!

Western Dakota Technical College Named a 'Great College to Work For' for Fourth Consecutive Year

Western Dakota Technical College (WDTC) continues to be one of the best colleges in the nation to work for, according to a new survey by the Great Colleges to Work For® program. This is the fourth consecutive year the college has earned prestigious recognition as a “Great College to Work For”.

The results, released today, Sept. 13, in a special insert of The Chronicle of Higher Education, are based on a survey of 196 colleges and universities. In all, 70 of the 196 institutions achieved “Great College to Work For” recognition for specific best practices and policies. Results are reported for small, medium, and large institutions, with WDTC included among the small universities with 500 to 2,999 students.
