An Entrepreneurship Certificate will prepare students who want to start and operate a successful business of any kind. Students will prepare a comprehensive business plan ready to implement while also learning technical and professional skills through a variety of courses including accounting, project management, supervisory management, small business entrepreneurship, and business law. This certificate is available through classes on campus, online, or a combination of both.

A high demand for meat processors in this region has resulted in an innovative partnership between Western Dakota Technical College (WDTC) and Wall Meats to offer the Meat Processing program. Classroom instruction is on the WDT campus with hands-on meat processing and retail methods skills taught at the Wall Meats Processing Rapid City location. Meat Processing Associate of Applied Science degree and Diploma options are available. This program prepares students with the necessary skills to be successful in the consumable livestock and animal products industry. We aim to provide students a solid foundation in the knowledge, skills, and behaviors required to be effective and highly successful meat processors.

The mission of the Western Dakota Technical College (WDTC) Practical Nursing Program is to educate graduates to provide safe, quality, evidence-based, patient-centered care as an entry level Practical Nurse in the current healthcare environment.

Precision Machining Technology is an 11-month diploma program that uses classroom theory, hands-on machining skills training, practical application lab work, and industry internships to allow students to obtain the skills for entry-level machining positions.
