Federal Work-Study funds are awarded to students as part of a comprehensive financial aid package. Students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and show financial need to qualify for a grant award. Funds from work-study grants are given to the student as they are earned for employment in a work-study-specified position. Work-study work is available for enrolled students during the academic year. During the summer, work-study may be available for students enrolling the following academic year.
If you have any questions or would like more information regarding Federal Work-Study, contact the Financial Aid office at (605) 718-2988 or finaid@wdt.edu.
