Woman Fulfills Dream of Becoming a Nurse Thanks to Build Dakota Scholarship Fund
Cara Riker’s life has been positively impacted by the Build Dakota Scholarship Fund and she couldn’t be any happier. Riker just passed the nursing board exams and became an “official nurse” on Feb. 6.
“I am so happy right now,” the Western Dakota Tech graduate said. “I always wanted to be a nurse and Build Dakota made it possible. It has been a real life-changer for me.”

Badlands Hall Grand Opening Set for Jan. 26
Join us tomorrow, Thursday, Jan. 26, for the Grand Opening of our new Transportation Technology building, Badlands Hall! The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 850 Mickelson Dr. This 30,000 sq. ft. building is located just north of the main campus and will provide students the opportunity to train utilizing state-of-the-art industry equipment.

RAPID CITY, SD - Western Dakota Tech congratulates the 226 students named to the Fall 2016 Dean's List. To qualify, students must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
