Three years ago, Western Dakota Tech set out to create the best workplace possible and earn acknowledgement as a Chronicle of Higher Education “Great Colleges to Work For” by 2021. Years ahead of its goal, this week Western Dakota Tech has been recognized as a 2018 Great College to Work For, received honors in five categories, and was named to The Chronicles’ even more prestigious Honor Roll.

243 Students Named to Spring 2018 Dean's List

Western Dakota Tech congratulates the 243 students named to the Spring 2018 Dean's List. To qualify, students must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

The Dean's List begins with South Dakota students followed by additional states.

Electrical Trades Students Take First Place at Community College Innovation Challenge

Congratulations to our Electrical Trades students who won first place at the National Science Foundation competition! The Community College Innovation Challenge is aimed to utilize community college student’s knowledge in science, technology, engineering and math to find solutions to real-world problems. Our students created a project that helps solve hunger by cultivating plants and fish through electrical automation.
