View Slides from the Summit Here Western Dakota Tech hosted an Economic Impact Summit on Wednesday, Aug. 15, in the Western Dakota Tech Event Center.
The event highlighted the college's economic impact on the western South Dakota region and featured presentations from a variety of industry and campus partners, including the South Dakota Department of Labor and Regulation, Black Hills Knowledge Network, and the Rapid City Economic Development Partnership.

Black Hills State University and Western Dakota Tech recently conducted an Administrative Personnel Session aimed at helping students pursue higher education.
The session brought decision-makers from both campuses together to collaborate on course offerings, transfer agreements, and a dual admissions project.
“We all are working toward the same goal, helping students in western South Dakota and beyond pursue and complete their higher education goals,” said Ann Bolman, Ed.D., President of Western Dakota Tech. “Together, we can achieve more for our students.”

Jump Start is scheduled for Aug. 3 and Aug. 10 at Western Dakota Tech; pick the one Friday that works best for you. Sessions will be from 8:30 a.m.to noon, with check-in starting at 8 a.m. Build Dakota Scholarship recipients will have a separate orientation on Thursday, Aug. 16.
