Free Financial Aid Assistance Event at Western Dakota Tech Set for Feb. 20

If you need money to attend college, you will want to attend Western Dakota Tech's (WDT) Free Financial Aid Assistance Event, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 20. (Enter main college entrance.)

WDT college representatives will be available to provide financial aid guidance, help you complete the Free Application For Student Aid (FAFSA) regardless of where you plan to go to college. They will also assist with scholarship applications.

Plumbing Students Contribute Skills, Labor for Love INC's New Building Project

Western Dakota Tech Plumbing Technology program students, under the guidance of Program Director Walter Cline, are contributing their skills and labor on the Love INC of the Black Hills new building construction project. The new Love INC building is located at 414 E. Omaha St.  

Cline’s students have been working on the drain waste and vent system on a couple of bathrooms. Some of the work has been challenging, as they have had to work on lifts 15 ft. above ground to attach hangers for vents to steel bar joists.

Fifteen Students Completed Western Dakota Tech's Practical Nursing Program on Dec. 13

Fifteen Western Dakota Tech (WDT) Practical Nursing students were honored for completing the program during a Pinning Ceremony, in the college's Event Center, Dec. 13. These graduates will help fill an important need in the workforce for entry-level nurses in the health care environment.
