Apply Now for Philip Practical Nursing Satellite Location Opening in January

Deadline is Dec. 1, 2022; Only Eight Spots Available

Western Dakota Technical College (WDTC) is striving to help fill skilled nursing positions throughout the region while aiming to make earning a Practical Nursing diploma more accessible and affordable for those who live in the Philip area.

The technical college is opening the Philip Practical Nursing satellite location in the Spring Semester starting in January 2023. Those interested in starting the Philip Practical Nursing program must apply by Dec. 1, 2022. There are eight spots available for students in Philip, so those interested are encouraged to apply ASAP. The program courses and lab will take place at Philip High School located at 330 Scottie Ave.

Are you a high school Junior or Senior student considering a career in the medical field? The FREE Western Dakota Technical College one-day Scrubs Camp, on Tuesday, Nov. 1, provides a great way for students to explore their career interests, and meet faculty and current college students.

Register by Sunday, Oct. 30, to reserve your spot today. This camp is limited to 100 participants and there are only a few openings remaining.

Nine Graduates Help Fill Great Need for Professional Truck Drivers

Nine students graduated from Western Dakota Technical College's (WDTC) Professional Truck Driving Program in September. These graduates will help fill the high and projected increasing need for truck drivers.
