WDTC classes are canceled for Rapid City, Philip and Whitewood, Thursday, 2-23-2023, due to inclement weather. The Rapid City campus will open at 9 a.m. for faculty/staff, scheduled events and activities.

Western Dakota Technical College congratulates the 209 students named to the 2022 Fall Semester Dean's List. To qualify, students must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher for a minimum of 12 credit hours in a given semester.

The Dean's List begins with South Dakota students followed by additional states.

Opportunities Include Full-Ride Build Dakota Scholarships

If you plan to attend Western Dakota Technical College (WDTC), there is FREE money available to help you pay for your education. Current and incoming students can now apply for Summer and Fall Semester scholarships through March 31. 

Scholarships include full-ride Build Dakota Scholarships for 21 eligible programs with more than 70 scholarships available for awarding. There is over $875,000 to award for the 2023-2024 award cohort. In addition, the Western Dakota Tech (WDT) Foundation has more than 30 other scholarships, totaling about $225,000, available for application.
