WDTC Honors 34 Nursing Students During Special Pinning Ceremony on Dec. 16

Western Dakota Technical College (WDTC) is helping fill the great need for more nurses. In honor of their WDTC Registered Nursing (RN) and Practical Nursing Fall Semester 2022 program completion, 34 students received pins during a special ceremony at the college on Friday, Dec. 16.

Nine students were recognized for having completed the Registered Nursing program. An additional 25 Practical Nursing program students were honored for completing their program. Receiving pins is a traditional symbolic welcoming of nursing graduates into the nursing field.

Four students received surprise awards during the ceremony.

Western Dakota Technical College (WDTC) was established in 1968 and is the only technical college serving the western South Dakota region.

WDTC offers more than 40 programs in a variety of fields, including Business and Computers, Construction and Manufacturing, Energy and Environmental Technologies, Health Sciences, Legal and Public Services, and Transportation Technologies.
