Western Dakota Technical College (WDTC) is hosting several celebrations to honor its 2024 graduates. Events include the college's 56th Commencement Ceremony, an Outstanding Graduates Banquet, a Nurse Pinning Ceremony, and a Native American Honoring Ceremony.
Weston and Tenise Chapman, Black Hills Tire owners and WDTC graduates, will provide this year's commencement address.

Friday, May 3
Outstanding Graduates Banquet - 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Western Dakota Technical College Event Center, 800 Mickelson Dr.
Thursday, May 9
Nurse Pinning Ceremony - 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., Western Dakota Technical College Event Center, 800 Mickelson Dr.
Friday, May 10
Native American Honoring Ceremony - 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Western Dakota Technical College Event Center, 800 Mickelson Dr.
Saturday, May 11
Commencement Ceremony - 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m./noon, The Monument Ice Arena, 444 Mt. Rushmore Rd.

About Western Dakota Technical College
Western Dakota Technical College (WDTC) was established in 1968 and is the only technical college serving the western South Dakota region.
WDTC offers more than 40 programs in a variety of fields, including Business and Computers, Construction and Manufacturing, Energy and Environmental Technologies, Health Sciences, Legal and Public Services, and Transportation Technologies.
