WalletHub has released its 2020 Community College rankings and South Dakota and Western Dakota Tech (WDT) have fared well once again.
South Dakota ranked #10 in the nation and WDT ranked third in the state, just behind Mitchell Tech and Lake Area Tech. Of 650 individual community colleges ranked by WalletHub, WDT came in at a respectable 356.
WalletHub rankings are formulated as follows: “Individual community colleges, however, vary in quality and affordability. To determine where students can receive the best education at the lowest price, WalletHub compared more than 650 community colleges across 18 key indicators of cost and quality. Our data set ranges from the cost of in-state tuition and fees to student-faculty ratio to graduation rate.”
