Hagemann received her A.A.S. in Surgical Technology at Rasmussen College in Moorhead, Minn. She has been a practicing Certified Surgical Technologist since 2010 and an Instructor at Western Dakota Tech since 2017. She is an active member of the AST and has served as Treasurer and Board of Directors for the South Dakota State Assembly.
In 2019, Hagemann was the recipient of the AST Chris Keegan Conference Scholarship. She was a presenter at the 2019 AST Educator's Conference detailing Inter-Professional Simulation.
