Western Dakota Technical College (WDTC) is excited to announce the details of its Accelerated 8-Week Fall 2024 Semester Online Courses, providing a perfect opportunity for current and new students to enhance their academic journey. Whether students want to advance in their career program or catch up on credits, these Fast Track courses are designed to students succeed. Financial Aid options are available!

Key Details:

  • Course Dates: Oct. 16 – Dec. 13.
  • Registration Deadline: Thursday, Oct. 17.
  • All classes are offered online.



Courses Offered:

  • ENGL 101: Composition I
  • MATH 101: Intermediate Algebra
  • PSYC 101: General Psychology
  • HC 114: Anatomy & Physiology
  • HC 213: Medical Terminology
  • HC 124: Introduction to Patient Care
  • HC 126: Introduction to Patient Care Lab

Accelerated classes allow students to complete prerequisites for nursing programs or get a head start on general education requirements, putting students on the fast track toward their academic and career goals.

Students can enroll in up to three accelerated courses simultaneously. Dual Enrollment students are also welcome—please consult your high school counselor for more details.

ABOUT WESTERN DAKOTA TECHNICAL COLLEGE

Western Dakota Technical College (WDTC) was established in 1968 and is the only technical college serving the western South Dakota region. 

WDTC offers nearly 40 programs in a variety of career fields, including Business and Computers, Construction and Manufacturing, Energy and Environmental Technologies, Health Sciences, Legal and Public Services, and Transportation Technologies.

Ninety-nine percent of Western Dakota Technical College's most recent graduates are working, continuing their education, or are enlisted in the military per the WDTC 2023 Placement Report.
