Western Dakota Tech is hosting a FREE Financial Aid Assistance Event, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, March 14. Attendees will be greeted in the college Main Entrance.
Financial Aid representatives will help all attendees complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), regardless of where they plan to attend college. If wanting to complete the FAFSA, remember to bring your 2017 tax return and W2 information for parents and students. Representatives from the Western Dakota Tech Foundation will also be available provide information about the Build Dakota full-ride scholarship and additional scholarship opportunities at the college.
Why apply for financial aid:
- You must apply to receive Federal student loans (not just the free money).
- Many scholarships require the FAFSA be completed.
- You are not committing to borrow student loans by completing the FAFSA. That requires separate paperwork.
