Those interested in taking Western Dakota Technical College (WDTC) Practical Nursing Program courses in Whitewood, S.D., are encouraged to attend an Open House in Hale Hall, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., Monday, Dec. 20. Hale Hall is located at 1016 Meade St. At this event, WDTC college Admissions representatives will explain how to get started on a nursing career, including the application, financial aid, and scholarship processes. (Applying at WDTC is always free.) Kristen Hybertson, WDTC Interim Nursing Program Director, and Nursing Faculty will also be in attendance to talk about the program and answer questions.
Students interested in taking the Practical Nursing courses in Whitewood can begin by taking required preparatory courses this upcoming Spring 2022, starting January 10, 2022, online or at the WDTC Rapid City campus. Once Nursing prerequisites are complete, students can begin the Practical Nursing courses in Whitewood Fall Semester 2022.
