When: 6/26/2023 and 7/10/2023
Where: Western Dakota Technical College
What: We’ll have 3 groups rotating 3 programs: Computer Science, EET, and Nursing. Each student will attend each program session. Sessions are 40 minutes.  

Tentative schedule - please arrive in the WDTC Event Center at 9:15am.

9:30-10:10 Session 1

10:15-10:55 Session 2

11:00-11:40 Session 3

Bagged lunch will be at 11:45am

Computer Science is presenting on Simple Networking Concepts, Python Programming with Minecraft, and Cyber Security with Wi-Fi.

Where: Western Dakota Technical College
What: 

9:00-9:15- Check In, Event Center- Everyone including all Program Directors/Instructor and WDTC students that will be participating

9:15-9:30- Welcome, Event Center- Agenda and Introduce PD/Instructors

• Admissions will have tables set up for each program, with program information.
• PD/Instructors/Current WDTC Students there to visit with the high school students at your table
• Program Directors/ Instructors and WDTC Students will take the high school students to their first session

9:40-10:15- First Session- time to showcase your program through a presentation about the courses, jobs available, graduate stories and then have a hands-on event or activity that is non-hazardous. Get your current students involved in the activity or for extra credit. 

• Program Directors/Instructors and WDTC Students will bring the high school students back to the  Event Center for refreshment, snacks and conversations.

10:20-10:50- Event Center

• Dr Ann- visit about our Great College
• We will have refreshments/snacks for EVERYONE.

11:00-11:35- Second Session- Program Directors/ Instructors and WDTC Students will take the high school students to their second session. Again, this is a great time to sale your program and have fun with the potential/future high school students.

11:45-1:00pm-  Lunch, Event Center  

• Program Directors/Instructors and WDTC Students will bring the high school students back to the Event Center and join us at the round tables for lunch and fun.

What: We are excitedly gearing up for the 2022 8^th Grade College and Career Fair on Friday, November 4, 2022. As an active partner in this experiential learning opportunity, we want to invite you to host an interactive booth (anything hands on that students can do, touch, experience: simulations, equipment to try, games, etc.), sponsor this event, provide student prizes, and meet our 8^th grade students! All 1,200 of them! Don’t worry—they will come in shifts of approximately 200-250 at a time!
