What: We’ll have 3 groups rotating 3 programs: Computer Science, EET, and Nursing. Each student will attend each program session. Sessions are 40 minutes.

Bagged lunch will be at 11:45am
Computer Science is presenting on Simple Networking Concepts, Python Programming with Minecraft, and Cyber Security with Wi-Fi.

9:00-9:15- Check In, Event Center- Everyone including all Program Directors/Instructor and WDTC students that will be participating
9:15-9:30- Welcome, Event Center- Agenda and Introduce PD/Instructors
9:40-10:15- First Session- time to showcase your program through a presentation about the courses, jobs available, graduate stories and then have a hands-on event or activity that is non-hazardous. Get your current students involved in the activity or for extra credit.
10:20-10:50- Event Center
11:00-11:35- Second Session- Program Directors/ Instructors and WDTC Students will take the high school students to their second session. Again, this is a great time to sale your program and have fun with the potential/future high school students.
11:45-1:00pm- Lunch, Event Center
Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) Will be Guest Speaker Forensic Class April 3, 2023 from 1pm – 3pm

What: We are excitedly gearing up for the 2022 8th Grade College and Career Fair on Friday, November 4, 2022. As an active partner in this experiential learning opportunity, we want to invite you to host an interactive booth (anything hands on that students can do, touch, experience: simulations, equipment to try, games, etc.), sponsor this event, provide student prizes, and meet our 8th grade students! All 1,200 of them! Don’t worry—they will come in shifts of approximately 200-250 at a time!
