National Exam Training

These courses are tailored for experienced South Dakota Dental Assistants with a minimum of two consecutive years of working experience in the dental field, specifically in dental assisting. Your supervising dentist must be willing to endorse your application to take the exam. These preparatory exams are designed to equip you for the Certified Dental Assistant examinations administered by the Dental Assisting National Board, Inc., (DANB). The courses encompass the following content areas and incorporate practice exams.
General Chairside - $1000

This course aims to prepare individuals for knowledge-based competence in general chairside assisting tasks essential to ensuring the health and safety of patients and dental healthcare personnel. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of key responsibilities, including patient care, infection control, instrument handling, and procedural support. By the end of the course, students will be equipped to fulfill chairside assisting roles effectively, contributing to dental healthcare teams with professionalism and confidence.
